Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure capturing a family maternity photos with this gorgeous family of four, soon to be six! This family is about to welcome twins to their loving arms, what a blessing! Bec looks so beautiful and she is glowing; you wouldn’t even know she has twins hidden in there!
We decided on heading out to Petrie for this maternity session to take advantage of the overgrown grass and creeks – it’s always a favorite this spot! The weather on the day was perfect, because we are in the middle of winter here the morning did start out fresh but by the time we arrived in the afternoon it had warmed up enough to dip our toes in the water.
We started out with family photos in hopes to keep the girls attention for awhile before their little cheeks got sore from all their smiles but that wasn’t a worry at all, they did so well and after a quick sultana brake they were happy to participate all the way to the end. Both girls look so cute in their outfits and bows in their hair.
I know I have said it before but Maternity photography is one of my favorite moments to capture. Pregnancy goes by so fast and it’s such a special time to try and capture and to look back on years to come. But this time it was even more special to include the whole family together, excitedly awaiting the arrival of their latest members. Bec wore gowns from our collection for her session and I think it’s pretty safe to say she looked stunning in all of them, so it’s impossible for me to pick out a favorite. Bec coordinated the rest of her family and they just looked great!
